Welcome to The Electric Current Rundown Podcast, episode number 36.

And I’m your host, Phil Defiance, and I’ll always say I’m here to encourage the spread of intriguing knowledge that can spark fires in the minds of those seeking inspiration and truly improving the world.

And I forgot to add a link to this other episode I made recently where it has a list of streaming TV shows and streaming movies.

I forgot to add that link, so actually I’m adding the link to that episode and the link to that list of streaming TV shows and movies in the description of this video as well as I’m updating the description of that episode to have that list because I forgot to do that.

But either way, on this episode, I’m going to be talking about a continuation of where I left off on the last episode, a topic from my girlfriend about the moon and different aspects of it.

I also will talk about why some people need less sleep.

It’s in their DNA.

And yeah, this is my five-minute bonus episode.

So let me get right into it so that I can get it all done so quick.

Anyway, so I mean, continuing on where I left off on the moon.

I mean, well, what gave my girlfriend inspiration for that topic was just at that time in December, there was a wolf moon.

And actually, either way, I mean, like I also want to say, the moon is beautiful.

I mean, especially when it’s got a full moon or a half moon or even a little crack of a moon.

I mean, it’s just beautiful to look at.

I mean, whether you’re going to look at it for a while or just take a glance at it or take a photo, it’s always a nice thing to look at.

But either way, I mean, when it comes to like a wolf moon, like that happened in December or the other moons, like they all have like different names.

You hear about it every single like month or so, like they talk about this moon, that moon, like last time it was a wolf moon.

Either way, I mean, where does that even come from?

I mean, actually, the interesting thing about that is that, like a couple centuries ago, I think it was somewhere on the East Coast or something like that, like a group ended up coming up with this list of distinct names for the moons, for the different moons had different seasons.

And that’s where it actually dates back to.

And ever since that one group, like a couple centuries ago, did that, it’s become a standard all the way till today.

And yeah, I mean, that’s where it all comes down from.

So that’s actually pretty interesting.

But either way, I’m going to finish off on that topic in a moment.

I’m just going on this quick break.

So on this break, I’m just going to say at plainbowl.com, we have an expanding catalog of high quality clothes and consumer goods.

If you want really cool looking clothes or consumer goods at low prices, just check us out.

Go to plainbowl.com.

That’s plain, like airplane, plainbowl.com.

Yes, so either way, I mean, so when it comes to the moon, I mean, it’s interesting too.

So like, yeah, they got the names from that from a couple centuries ago.

And I mean, just another aspect of that topic.

I mean, in December, there was a wolf moon and an interesting thing about wolves and even the moon.

I mean, they’re known to howl at the moon.

I mean, that’s like a common thing.

A lot of people know about that.

And one of the reasons why wolves howl in the first place is because they’re trying to like communicate to each other.

Like if a lost wolf is like not to be found from the pack, like they’re trying to find it, like it could be related to love, like finding a mate.

So they howled at each other for various reasons.

And that’s actually pretty interesting information as well.

I mean, that’s actually funny that I thought of that just because of the last wolf moon.

I mean, not just me and my girlfriend gave me the idea.

So yeah, I mean, that’s pretty cool though.

But either way, I mean, I’m going to finish off on this episode with this other topic of why some people need less sleep.

It’s in their DNA.

Yes, it’s based on an article I read.

And I mean, so it’s interesting, right?

I mean, some people actually need eight hours of sleep.

Some people even need 10 or 12 hours of sleep.

I’ve met people like that.

I mean, they exist.

I mean, eight is the normal.

It’s a common amount, right?

But like, there’s some people out there.

And I’m sure you know at least one or two, even myself.

So like, I mean, there’s people out there that don’t need as much sleep.

I mean, they can get by with only like four or five hours a night.

And like, I mean, so like, it comes down to like, hmm, like, I mean, these scientists, they decide to look into that.

Like, why is it that some people can actually get by with less sleep?

And so like, I mean, they really did a study about it.

And I mean, they ended up finding out that there’s actual DNA traits that end up making some people be able to get by with less sleep.

But okay, so I’m gonna finish up on that topic on my next episode.

But either way, this is the end of this episode, episode 36 with me, your host, Phil Defiance.

And I’ll always say I’m here to encourage the spread of intriguing knowledge that can spark fires in the minds of those seeking inspiration and truly improving the world.

And till next time, have a good one.
