Welcome to The Electric Current Rundown podcast episode number 33.
And I’m your host Phil Defiance, and I’ll always say I’m here to encourage the spread of intriguing knowledge that can spark fires in the minds of those seeking inspiration and truly improving the world.
And what I’m going to be talking about in this episode is, well, I’m going to add to the mystery topic that I talked about in the last episode where I tied those topics together.
I mean, when it comes to the smokeless inhalation aspect of it, and any other general health concerns, I mean, just think about what I was talking about, happiness too.
I mean, there’s studies that show, and there’s strong evidence of the fact that when you’re more happy and more positive, then you can avoid physical health ailments.
So, I mean, just thinking about things like smoke inhalation, as well as any other physical health issues.
I mean, if you really want to avoid having physical ailments, then you should be more positive.
So, I mean, that’s really one of the most key pieces that I should have added.
But, okay, so that adds to the mystery element of it.
I mean, so because I added it on to the next episode.
But either way, okay, so, I mean, what I’m going to be talking about mainly on this episode includes, well, a continuation of where I left off on the last episode on the topic of previously unusable DNA sample, now evidence in a quadruple murder trial of New Jersey uncle.
And then also, I’m going to be talking about the best streaming shows and movies you may have missed last year.
So I mean, when it comes to that continuation of where I left off on the topic of previously unusable DNA sample, now evidence in the quadruple murder trial of New Jersey uncle.
I mean, yeah, I mean, the details of this case sound pretty serious.
And I don’t know if that guy actually killed those people or not, his family or not.
Well, either way, I mean, yeah, they found like, like very small fragments of his DNA on the family members.
So I mean, but the thing is that they’re trying to use this new software called STR mix or ST remix.
And it’s a questionable technology because it’s so brand new.
I mean, like, there’s serious ramification right here.
Implications like I mean, is this software seems to be too new?
I mean, that’s what the defense of the guy is arguing too.
And I think it makes a lot of sense.
But OK, I’m going to continue on that topic and finish off that.
I mean, the episode on the last topic right after this quick break.
So on this break, I’m going to say when you do get your order from planebowl.com, you’re going to have the kind of design you’ll love.
Clothing that looks so good.
It will make you stand out, and people will notice.
And you’ll love that.
Go to planebowl.com.
That’s Plane, like airplane, planebowl.com.
But OK, to finish off on the topic about DNA.
I mean, that’s what his defense team is talking about.
Like, it’s too new, this technology is too new.
Like, I mean, there’s too much room for error.
I mean, this is untested technology.
Like, I mean, do you really think that untested technology should be used in murder cases?
I mean, this has ramifications to put all sorts of people that are innocent of murder into jail for 25 years, or even be given the death penalty, and they happen to be innocent.
Those are serious concerns right there.
I mean, nobody wants to be put in jail for a crime they didn’t commit, and this type of technology could do just that.
I mean, I don’t know if this New Jersey man did that quadruple murder, but I mean, that’s besides the point.
And his defense has a really good statement about that.
I mean, a really good perspective on that.
And, I mean, that’s a serious concern.
I mean, people could end up going to jail just because they, I mean, this questionable software, accuse them of murder.
So like, I mean, that’s serious.
That’s a serious concern, and I really hope that, like, they iron out that software, or maybe even stop using it at all, because some courtrooms have not used it while other courtrooms have.
And that’s a concern.
I mean, if it really is putting innocent people behind bars or even putting them into the death penalty, like, that’s a huge problem.
And maybe it shouldn’t be used in courtrooms.
I mean, if you’re a lawyer or if you know a lawyer, maybe you should tell them about it or maybe you should think about it.
Like, I mean, I just hope that no innocent people go to jail for murder because that’s like a serious issue.
But so that’s why I talked about it.
But OK, so I’m going to finish off the episode on the topic of Best Streaming Shows and movies you may have missed last year.
I mean, OK, I mean, when it comes to Hollywood, I would have to say that a lot of the content that they’re making these days is really low quality, really crap, really.
But every single once in a while, even these days, they’re making decent stuff.
So, I mean, because of that, I mean, maybe some of these things on this list actually could catch your eye.
And if you check them out, maybe you’ll end up being real appreciative of it.
You’ll say, wow, that’s actually something nice that you’re happy that you checked out.
So, actually, that’s a cool thing.
Maybe some of these are some of those things, those rare good things that are still being made in Hollywood, because, yeah, I mean, most of it’s crap, but some of it is pretty good.
Still, I mean, it’s rare, but true.
And Hollywood is messed up.
I mean, there’s like creepy pedophiles in the industry, but not everyone is.
There’s still good people in Hollywood, too.
So that’s a factor as well.
Although, overall, it’s really a strange culture over there.
I mean, that system right there.
But, I mean, obviously, not everyone involved in that is a part of that.
It’s a creepy aspect.
So, I mean, that’s why I still feel like there’s still some decent stuff being made by them.
So that’s why I want to talk about it.
But, I mean, okay, so like a couple that I’m going to point out before I end the episode includes Beetlejuice, the animated cartoon.
I mean, the first movie was pretty good.
The second one I didn’t really like.
So, I mean, if it’s like similar to the first movie, like, I mean, it could be a potentially a pretty good show.
And then there’s Beverly Hill Cop, Beverly Hills Cop Axol F.
I mean, Beverly Hills Cop.
Think about that.
Those movies were really cool.
So, I mean, this has a potential to be a pretty good thing, too.
So, I mean, maybe you should check out both of them.
Maybe you might like them.
But either way, I’m going to continue on that topic and other topics on my next episode.
And that’s it.
That’s the end of this one.
Episode 33 with me, your host, Phil Defiance.
And I’ll always say I’m here to encourage the spread of intriguing knowledge that can spark fires in the minds of those seeking inspiration and truly improving the world.
Well, till next time, have a good one.
