Welcome to Electric Current Rundown Podcast, episode number 27.
And I’m your host, Phil Defiance, and I’ll always say I’m here to encourage the spread of intriguing knowledge that can spark fires in the minds of those seeking inspiration and truly improving the world.
And what I’m going to be talking about in this quick five-minute bonus episode is the two topics of, well, a continuation of where I left off on the topic of moral panic over Ozempic misses a point.
And then I’m going to be talking about what is a deal with Jerry Seinfeld, both of them based on articles I’ve read.
And anyway, when it comes to Ozempic, I mean, so there’s a lot of noise out there about how it’s bad for the health, like it can cause heart attacks or like even strokes.
But then again, I mean, there’s also good side effects.
I mean, it can reverse the effects of things like diabetes and things like that.
So I mean, it’s like a mixed bag.
And if you’re gonna take that kind of thing because you’re overweight and you’re trying to lose some weight and you’re trying to have a quick fix for that, then if you’re gonna do that, then I mean, make sure that you do it the right way.
Like follow your doctor’s instructions or else you might end up having some serious health side effects.
So I mean, just think about that if you’re thinking about taking that.
But also, I mean, when it comes to that article I read, I mean, it’s actually funny because what he was talking about was that a lot of people are talking about when it comes to the good aspects of the thing.
A lot of people are talking about how it helps you lose weight.
But the article writer was saying that that’s the wrong thing because I mean, the article writer was trying to say that, well, I mean, like things like, of course, you’ve heard of such stuff like fat shaming.
And he was trying to say that’s like being fat is not a bad thing.
And like, I mean, he was trying to say that like this emphasis, this continued emphasis on trying to lose weight with yet another method as there have been in the past is a wrong thing.
And you know what, I’m going to talk about that.
I’m going to finish that topic and then switch topics after this quick break.
And on this break, I’m going to say plain bold clothing, live life to the fullest.
What happened the last time you went to a party?
Well on a great adventure, you’ll be the life of the party with clothing like our authentic plain goose items.
You’ll get exuberant designs you need.
Yes.
And that’s plain like airplane plain bold.com.
And OK, so now to finish off on that topic about Ozempic, I mean, article writer was saying, yeah, being fat shouldn’t be shamed.
And likewise, should people be like wanting to lose weight like that so quickly and all that.
So he was trying to say that, I mean, people that are fat should be more embracing of the fact that they’re fat.
Now, I mean, when it comes to Ozempic, I mean, yeah, there’s potential bad health side effects if you use it improperly and sometimes just in general.
But at the same time, I mean, just thinking about being fat or overweight, I mean, like trying to say, oh, like it’s OK to be fat.
Well, think about this.
So, I mean, talk about health side effects.
Being fat, like most people that are like really overweight, they live a lot shorter lives.
I mean, being overweight is a serious health issue.
Like it can create all sorts of health conditions, including diabetes and then other things too.
Like it’s just not a good thing.
So, I mean, all this stuff about embracing your fatness, embracing the fact that you’re overweight, all this kind of thing.
I mean, that’s not a good mentality.
And I think it’s just really not smart to like have that kind of mentality.
It’s like you’re encouraging people to be unhealthy.
I mean, encouraging people to take Ozempic is also a potential bad thing, but even worse, encouraging people to stay overweight is even worse, I think, in general.
I mean, yeah, there’s plenty of ways to lose weight.
I mean, it’s not just Ozempic.
But if you’re overweight, you really should be trying to lose weight, whether it’s Ozempic or another method.
Either way, reaching the end of this episode, and I’m just going to quickly talk about What Is the Deal with Jerry Seinfeld based on another article I read in.
Like, I mean, the article writer was talking about how Jerry Seinfeld is like a grumpy old man nowadays.
Like, he used to be, like, not so conservative in his views, and now he’s like kind of like almost like an outspoken conservative.
And the article writer was complaining about that.
And I mean, Jerry Seinfeld is a legend, of course.
Well, either way, I mean, I’m going to continue talking about that during the next episode.
And that’s just a quick preview of that.
And I’ll continue on where I left off right there.
But either way, this is the end of this episode.
And that’s episode number 27 of The Electric Current Rundown.
And I’ll always say I’m here to encourage the spread of intriguing knowledge.
That can spark fires in the minds of those seeking inspiration and truly improving the world.
Well, till next time, have a good one.
