Welcome to The Electric Current Rundown Podcast Episode Number 25.

And I’m your host, Phil Defiance, and I’ll always say I’m here to encourage the spread of intriguing knowledge that can spark fires in the minds of those seeking inspiration and truly improving the world.

And what I’m going to be talking about in this episode right here includes a continuation of where I left off on the last episode on the topic of how some scientists are now saying that dark energy is debunked by a new lumpy universe expansion theory, as well as mental health issues, tolerance and what it’s done to society with more people crazy than ever.

And lastly, with a recent death of Manmohan Singh, a former prime minister of India, some commentary on him and what he did for his country during his reign and related thoughts.

So let me get right into it to continue on where I left off on the subject of, so, I mean, how some scientists are now saying that dark energy is debunked due to a new lumpy universe expansion theory.

Well, okay, so, I mean, dark energy was something that really like was thought of in 1998, apparently.

I didn’t even know this, so this is quite fascinating to me, and you probably find it fascinating, especially as I continue to talk about it right here.

And since 1998, ideas, the ideas revolved around cold dark matter, like slow moving dark matter.

I mean, yeah, like on a previous episode, I mentioned how dark matter has been a theory since the 80s.

So actually, that’s interesting, too.

I mean, this theory about dark energy came about in 1998.

So that just is kind of fascinating, just thinking about that, too.

But I mean, all of this dark energy, like subject matter in the scientific community has been complicated by the Hubble tension, that the expansion of the early universe isn’t in line with current expansion.

Well, Friedman’s Equation assumes uniform expansion.

And the replacement to that, I mean, the proposed replacement in light of the fact that they’re now questioning dark energy is something called the time scape model.

Because, I mean, they view it like, in 1998, they had a misidentification on that whole thing about dark energy and the way that, like, dark energy, like, I mean, just think about it from what you’ve heard.

I mean, what it is is like some kind of like mysterious matter that’s binding the whole universe together, like, all the galaxies and all that.

But, like, I mean, well, it’s like, they’re now realizing that they had some misidentification on how that, like, really behaves.

And, I mean, the way that they view it now, like, the new scientists that are, like, doing work on this is that, like, I mean, they’re thinking, like, time moves much slower in void areas versus dense areas.

And all this points to a lumpy universe.

I mean, so, I mean, what they’re, like, saying is that, instead of this mysterious dark energy, like, being a constant, and what they’re also saying is that, instead of, like, the universe having a, like, uniform expansion throughout the whole thing, like, connected to what they were previously assuming to be dark energy, binding it all together, like, now they’re realizing that the universe has, I mean, in light of the fact that there’s these void areas, and then there’s also, like, dense areas, they’re making realizations that are fascinating.

But, I mean, okay, I’m gonna finish off on that subject in a moment, but I’m just gonna go on this quick break quickly right here.

And on this quick break, I’m gonna say, everybody likes really good designs, as well as knowing their online order will come quickly.

Go to planebold.com to get the great design you desire.

Your order will come quick, like you expect.

And while you want quick delivery, you’ll have patience for your order, because when it does come, you’re going to have the kind of design you’ll love.

It will make you stand out, and people will notice, and you’ll love that.

Go to planebold.com.

That’s plane, like airplane, planebold.com.

But, okay, so, I mean, instead of what they were thinking about with the universe having a uniform expansion, they’re now realizing that maybe it’s not a uniform expansion.

It’s a lumpy expansion with, like, time traveling really fast in the void areas, while time travels slower in the dense areas, like big galaxies, like our own, the milky way.

So, I mean, it’s a fascinating thing about it.

But, I mean, I think it also is connected to, like, what I was talking about in that previous episode, quite a few episodes back, with, like, how dark energy, like, they’re coming up with new theories about it, or dark matter, things like that, because previous experiments that they were doing in places like the CERN Collider in Switzerland areas has not proved anything substantial in that kind of research.

So now they’re, I mean, it must be connected to that, because they’re not finding any evidence.

So while there’s some scientists that are looking at separate ways of finding evidence, there’s other scientists now saying maybe dark energy doesn’t even exist at all, and this uniform expansion of the universe is actually not what’s actually going on, and instead it’s a lumpy universe type thing.

So it’s fascinating just realizing how science is just an ongoing thing.

There’s a bunch of theories involved, and I mean, it’s all connected to like what they were saying about like, like even with the vaccines, like they were like a trust of science, I mean, science is constantly changing.

I mean, it’s not something you can just say is like 100% exact.

But okay, I mean, okay, now I want to talk about a different topic anyway.

So I’m going to talk about how mental health issues, tolerance being a thing these days, and how it has been for quite some time now, like at least a decade, and what it has done to society with more people crazy than ever.

I mean, it’s really a touchy subject.

I mean, I do talk about mental health and helping people with mental health, like a couple of episodes recently, a couple of episodes back, I even talked about it with those cozy games that I was talking about.

So I mean, yeah, I mean, I personally feel like those types of people need to be helped.

And I mean, that’s why I bring up topics like that.

And I find it to be fascinating.

And helping people is definitely a good thing.

But at the same time, I mean, it’s like I noticed this like maybe 10, 15 years ago, where they started these campaigns that we should be more tolerant about people with mental health issues.

But at the same time, I mean, like, look at what has happened ever since then.

Like back like 10, 15 years ago, not nearly as many people were crazy or like doing like crazy drugs that are making them crazy.

I mean, I think that all this campaigning about trying to be more tolerant towards people with mental health issues has really led to like people that are susceptible to have mental health issues to actually embrace their mental health issues and become even worse.

And that’s connected to how a lot of society has gotten even more crazy.

So I mean, I really feel that all this tolerance of mental health issues is actually a bad thing for society.

And I really wanted to talk about that because I mean, maybe it’s about time that we start reversing this trend and stop being so tolerant of craziness.

I mean, because it’s just enabling people to have mental issues to be even worse.

And I mean, it’s just not a good thing.

I mean, like crazy people are making life harder for everybody.

So I mean, maybe we should be taking a different approach.

And you know what, I’m going to finish off on that subject and also go on that last subject.

But I’m just going to go on this quick break right here.

And on this quick break, I’m going to talk about this.

We all love good workouts.

Look good wearing a quality gym shirt from plainbowl.com.

Your workouts will be less effort since you’ll feel great, leading to less time spent and you’ll see less risks.

You’ll be that guy everyone wants to befriend like a cat that turned into a tiger at the gym because you felt good from looking good.

So get good gym style clothing from plainbowl.com.

That’s Plain like airplane, plainbowl.com.

But either way, I mean, really we just need to have a different approach because crazy people are really messing up society and it’s really getting uncomfortable living in this world with the crazy people just like messing things up.

I mean, we just gotta come up with a different approach.

I mean, another thing that came to my mind on this subject matter is how in the 1980s, like America used to have a lot of insane asylums.

And then Ronald Reagan, I mean, he was a great president and he was trying to cut the budget and he did a lot of great things in those regards.

But one thing that I disagree with him on was him cutting the insane asylums budgets and that resulted in a lot of insane asylums closing.

So, I mean, really, I really feel that it’s actually a good idea to reopen those things.

I mean, because it’s like crazy.

I mean, these these people need to go and live a few years in a place like that because they’re messing up society.

And I mean, tolerance of them is not a good thing because it’s only enabling them.

And so when you think about it, maybe you should be less tolerant of this kind of behavior when you see it around you.

I mean, don’t be so tolerant of it because you’re just a part of the problem.

You’re enabling these people.

And it’s just not a good thing.

I mean, because I mean, think about it.

When you see crazy people doing crazy things around you, obviously you don’t feel comfortable.

But okay, so now I’m going to talk on the last topic about the recent death of Manmohan Singh, who was a former Prime Minister of India and some commentary on him and what he did for his country during his reign and related thoughts.

I mean, he was actually a really good Prime Minister from 2004 to 2014, a 10-year reign, two terms really, because in India is a little different.

Prime Minister is over there, got five-year terms, obviously, since he had two terms in that 10 years.

And I mean, he didn’t even really want to be elected.

Like, I mean, his rise to power was actually a surprise to him and even in his party, because in 2004, his party had a surprise victory.

It was like crazy in India, because nobody was really thinking that was going to happen.

And that’s a funny thing about politics.

These kinds of things happen, and it doesn’t matter which country, it can happen in any country.

And India is a major country, obviously, because it has a lot of people, like 1.5 billion today.

And back in 2004, it was probably like 1.3 billion.

I mean, that’s a huge number.

But either way, I mean, so he was surprisingly a man that became prime minister.

And it was due to the fact that, like a member of the Gandhi family, and obviously, everybody knows the Gandhi family.

I mean, Gandhi himself was a legendary figure in the 1970s.

I believe it was the 70s.

Maybe it was the 60s.

But anyway, obviously, a lot of people know about Gandhi.

And so, I mean, even up till the 2000s in India, the Gandhi family still held clout.

And I wouldn’t be surprised if even today there is some clout that that family holds.

But, I mean, when that 2004 election happened, a lot of people thought, I mean, after the surprise victory of that party, the Congress Party, actually, that’s what their name was.

When that happened, a lot of people thought that the Gandhi family member would get that position, but she didn’t because she was born in Italy.

And, you know, like, that creates controversy.

I mean, obviously, you want your prime minister or your president to be born in your country.

So, what happened was she didn’t take the position, and she ended up suggesting this guy, Manmohan Singh.

And so, he ended up the prime minister, and yeah, he did a lot of good things.

He did a lot of really good things, actually.

He fixed education.

He enabled welfare, like, in a good way, which helps a lot of people out of poverty.

I mean, welfare programs can have problems, but if done right, they can be really helpful to those that are in poverty, so that makes a lot of sense.

And he also did a lot of bold moves regarding the economy.

He lowered import tariffs.

He did a lot of other good things when it comes to the economy.

And by the end of his first term, his second term was a little bit harder, but he still managed through it, and he generally was a really good prime minister.

And really, when I read the article, it just felt like something I should talk about, because in honor of him, since he just recently died, and he definitely seemed like a really good man.

And if you want to know more about him, then why don’t you look him up on the Internet?

I don’t have much more time because this episode’s not done, but he definitely was a really good prime minister.

And I mean, when it comes to good politicians, there should be more like him all across the planet.

I mean, if you’re trying to…

If you know…

I mean, politicians in general should be better people.

That’s what I’m really saying.

And this man seemed like a definite good politician right there, from what I read about him.

And you can look more into him by looking him up on the Internet.

But either way, now my episode’s done.

That’s episode 25 with me, your host, Phil Defiance.

And I’ll always say, I’m here to encourage the spread of intriguing knowledge that can spark fires in the minds of those seeking inspiration and truly improving the world.

And when it comes to my clothing store, plainbowl.com, I’m having a big sale right now.

So go over there and check it out.

And if you like something, buy something.

But anyway, okay, till next time, have a good one.
