In #24: Music Production & Dark Energy – I talk about 2 main topics including:

Welcome to The Electric Current Rundown podcast episode number 24.
And I’m your host, Phil Defiance, and I’ll always say I’m here to encourage the spread of intriguing knowledge that can spark fires in the minds of those seeking inspiration and truly improving the world.
And what I’m going to be talking about in this quick five-minute bonus episode, as I usually do on Saturdays like today, includes a continuation of where I left off on the topic of a quick documentary perspective on music production and things related to that from my own perspective.
And then I’m also going to be talking about a quick touch on the subject of some scientists and how they are now saying that darker energy is debunked by a new lumpy universe expansion theory.
So okay, let me get right into it.
I mean, where I left off on the last episode, I mean, it’s true when you think about it from my perspective on that story.
I mean, thinking about how sound waves are so strange.
I mean, a wall blocked loud music from my path, like it’s craziness.
I mean, that’s just the thing about music or even sound really, because it’s a science, literally.
I mean, you probably have a small or slight recollection of back when you were in high school, how they mentioned this years ago, that sound waves aren’t really what sound is.
But it’s more than that.
It’s also frequencies, and they’re directly related to sound waves.
And I mean, sound waves travel in mysterious ways, and they do strange things, like what I was describing in my last episode.
And I mean, it’s like a mysterious science, and it’s true.
But I mean, like when it comes to it all, like it’s not just music production.
I mean, in the professional world, there’s more than just being a music producer.
There’s also sound engineering, like audio engineering.
Those are professional positions.
And so, I mean, really what is involved in those things is like tweaking of frequencies, like boosting or cutting of them.
And there’s like these special tools called VST instruments or VST effects.
Like they really help producer or sound engineer in what they do.
And so, I mean, it’s all involved with the science of audio, really.
I mean, it’s like a really advanced process.
I mean, it took me years to figure out these kinds of things.
And I’m giving you years of learning experiences into a few short sentences, in a few short minutes.
But I mean, that’s like really what it boils down to.
Those are the main things that really are involved with the whole, like, scientific method of it is actually intriguing.
If, I mean, just to think about it, how I boiled down all that experience into such short sentences in comparison to how much experience I had in all of that, with all the experimentation I did with it.
But it really, I mean, those points are actually like solid points.
If you do research, you could find out that I’m telling you the truth right there.
But okay, so I mean, okay, to go right into a quick break in the middle of this episode, this quick episode, I’m just going to say on this quick break.

Yes.
Okay.
Okay.
So either way, now I’m going to switch topics to finish off this quick, I mean, five minute episode.
Okay.
So on this topic, I’m just going to quickly touch on this topic of some scientists are now saying that dark energy is debunked by lumpy universe expansion, this new theory.
Okay.
So, well, anyway, so, I mean, it all comes down to this study that was published in a journal called Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society.
And I mean, well, I mean, the origins of the idea of dark energy date back to the year 1998.
And it was in relation to the measurements of type IA supernova in distant galaxies.
And I mean, since 1998, the ideas revolved around cold dark matter, which was slow moving.
And I mean, so, like, that’s what you hear about dark energy, dark matter.
You hear about that a lot.
But now it is suddenly starting to get disproved.
And it’s craziness, like, it just shows you the craziness of science.
But, okay, I’m going to continue on that topic on my next episode.
That’s the end of episode number 24 of The Electric Current Rundown with me, your host, Phil Defiance.
And, you know, I’ll always say I’m here to encourage this part of intriguing knowledge that can spark fires in the minds of those seeking inspiration and truly improving the world.
Well, till next time, have a good one.
