Welcome to The Electric Current Rundown podcast episode number 87.

Now, I’m your host, Phil Defiance, and I’ll always say I’m here to encourage this spread of intriguing knowledge that can support fires in the minds of those seeking inspiration and truly improving the world.

And what I’m going to be talking about in this episode includes a continuation of where I left off in the last episode about an immense mystery older than Stonehenge.

And then I’m going to talk about a virtual reality pangolin that made me cry and care about the planet is just a real power of headsets based on an article I read.

And so, I mean, I just want to start off the episode referencing something that I’m going to post later today to about, well, the fact that I, again, posted these most recent episodes a little bit differently than I originally intended, related to the fact that I just did some serious upgrades.

Well, I mean, first I did it on my store and it took me months.

And then I finally did them to my podcast site.

And actually that was beautiful because it took me like a few days to apply the exact same edits to the podcast site as I did on my store site.

I mean, it took me months to experiment on the store and finally get to where I am now, where my store is fast as, I mean, faster than ever.

And now my podcast site is faster than ever too.

But those edits, although they were things that I was able to do pretty quickly in comparison to the experimentation that led me to where I am.

Still, it took a little bit, I mean, it interfered with my posting schedule.

So that’s why I posted a little differently than I originally was intending.

I should have posted this yesterday, right?

But I mean, that’s just the way that it is.

And usually I record these episodes a few days or a couple weeks sometimes before I even post them.

But this one was literally recorded like minutes for maybe an hour before I even posted it.

So literally, this is almost live.

But I mean, I mean, that is if you’re watching this literally minutes after I post it.

Well, I mean, if you watch it later today, then I guess it’s a few hours ago.

But okay, either way, so that’s a decent explanation.

And I also am going to post a related promo giving an explanation about that too.

But okay, so now to continue on where I left off in the last episode on An Immense Mystery Older Than Stonehenge and that’s go, it’s hard to pronounce.

So it’s like something from like Turkey.

So of course, I mean, you’d expect it.

Well, that was me doing a little.

I mean, if that was audible, I farted, but okay.

Well, I didn’t mean to do that, but we’re all human anyway.

So but like, I mean, it’s like hard to pronounce.

It’s like in Turkey and it’s like, it’s called like Gobegi.

I mean, okay.

Well, let me take a look at my notes here.

It’s like, I’m sure I pronounce it more properly.

If I, if I see the actual name here.

Well, it’s right here.

No, it’s not that one.

Okay.

It’s Gobekli Tepe or Teppa.

That’s how it’s properly pronounced.

But like, I mean, it dates back to like 11,000 years ago according to carbon dating and nobody really even knew about it until like about 20 years ago or 25 years ago.
