Welcome to The Electric Current Rundown podcast episode number 63.

And I’m your host Phil Defiance, and I’ll always say I’m here to encourage this part of intriguing knowledge that can spark fires in the minds of those seeking inspiration and truly improving the world.

And what I’m going to be talking about in this quick bonus episode includes a continuation of where I left off on the topic of this from an article that was titled Every James Bond Movie Ranked.

And then I’m going to be talking about three phrases no one should ever say in a negotiation.

So, to continue on where I left off on those James Bond movies.

Yeah, the characters are a legend, but personally I’ll have to add, before I get into the actual list that was ranked, I’ll have to say my own perspective, because like I referenced in the last episode, I’ve been a big fan of James Bond movies ever since I was a child.

And yeah, when I was young, I used to like watch all of them.

Like there was a channel that was playing them quite frequently, like even like sometimes, like one after the other after the other, just nonstop, like for like a whole like day or two.

So I’ve had plenty of experience watching those movies.

And so I’ve seen all of them actually, basically, except for maybe one, maybe two, but I’ve seen almost all of them basically.

And so I’m going to have to say like, when it comes to my favorites, like, okay, favorite actors.

I mean, my favorite bonds were, I’ll have to say Pierce Brosnan was one of them, because I mean, that was around when I was like in between 10 years old till, well, maybe 11 years old till I was like 22 or so.

So I mean, they, he was the guy that was like doing them when I was like growing up like into an adult from childhood into adulthood.

So of course, that left a mark on me since the new ones were with him, especially then.

And then I’d have to say Daniel Craig, who was definitely good too, ever since Pierce Brosnan passed him the torch.

And I just wonder who’s going to be the next Bond after Daniel Craig.

And I mean, so those two are definitely some of my favorites, because I mean, I have a bias towards them because they were making the newest ones while I was alive.

Well, okay, in the 80s, I was alive too.

And well, I mean, yeah, they made Bond movies in the 80s as well.

But I mean, my parents didn’t let me to watch new Bond movies back then because it was too mature for me, you know, obviously.

But okay, so I’m going to continue on on that in a moment after this quick break.

And on this break, I’m going to say when it comes to planebowl.com, we usually have some sales so you can save money to be like a goose on a plane on a flight to a great adventure to get plane goose items.

Yes, go to planebowl.com for that.

That’s plane like airplane, planebowl.com.

Yes.

And so, I mean, yeah, Plane Goose, that’s the name of my clothing brand that I made.

I mean, the name I gave it.

But, okay, so when it comes to James Bond, but either way, other than those two main actors, I have to say, yeah, I liked the guy that was doing it in the 80s.

I forget his name now.

But I mean, if you look him up, you’ll have to, I mean, you’ll know who it is.

He’s probably the one guy that actually acted in the most Bond movies.

But then again, Daniel Craig probably acted in slightly more than Pierce Brosnan.

But Brosnan actually acted in quite a few, too.

And Sean Connery, he acted in just a couple, really.

He was Bond for only a moment.

But the guy that was in the 80s as Bond, he acted in several of them.

And actually, I liked a couple of his, like, okay.

So like, I mean, those are the main guys that I prefer.

Kind of like in an order, really.

I mean, I’d say Pierce Brosnan is number one, but it’s like almost a tie with Daniel Craig.

Both of them because of myself and what I was referencing about, like they were making it while I was alive, the brand new ones.

But so other than that, I’d have to say the guy from the eighties and actually is kind of like a tie between him and Sean Connery, even though Connery was only doing it for a couple of movies.

But I mean, when it comes to explicit movies, I’d say GoldenEye, Tomorrow Never Dies, Spectre, a couple of other ones that Daniel Craig made.

I forget the exact names because I’m really trying to rush this because the episode is like almost done.

But yeah, I mean, Daniel Craig’s Bond movies were pretty damn good.

I mean, I’d have to give it like a big thumbs up, big thumbs up, thumbs up, because he did a good job as Bond.

And like, I mean, when it comes to the eighties guy, I’d have to say the movie with Jaws.

I mean, the character that was like Jaws.

Look it up if you don’t know what I’m talking about, if you never saw the movie.

But that actually was really cool.

And that villain right there was like, it was like really cool.

That whole movie was really cool.

If you haven’t seen that movie, you gotta check that one out, if you want to check out any of them.

But then again, I mean, check them all out, especially, I mean, some of the Daniel Craig ones were really good.

GoldenEye, Tomorrow Never Dies, but I mean, with Rosamund, and well, I forget the Sean Connery ones, but like, I mean, one of them was really, really good.

Well, either way, okay, so now I gotta switch topics because the episode’s almost done, and I’ve been dragging on some of my recent episodes, and I want to like make sure to keep them like kind of a bit short, so that you don’t have to like watch a long episode.

But like, I mean, so when it comes to the list though, that I was referencing, I’m going to put it in the description of this episode right here, so you can check it out yourself, and I mean, I find the order that they put it in was pretty interesting.

I mean, I’m pretty sure that if you like Bond movies and that kind of movie, then you’re going to find the list to be interesting, so check out the list in the description of this episode.

But okay, so now I’m going to switch topics, and to finish off this episode right here, I’m going to talk about, well, I’m going to start on this topic, well, I’m going to finish it off on the next episode.

But to start it off on this topic, and that is three phrases no one should ever say in a negotiation.

So I’m just going to reference the first one, and then I’m going to reference the others, two out of the three on the next episode.

And the first one was, is it okay if I, if I ask for, like, that means, in other words, like, like, if you’re doing negotiations, like, especially if you’re like a business person, or even if like, I mean, you don’t have to be a business person, you could just be a normal person that’s like trying to bargain with somebody.

And if you are in a negotiation, if you say such a thing, like, is it okay if I ask for this, or is it okay if I ask for that, is you’re putting an image to the person you’re negotiating with, an image of weakness.

Like, don’t ask, is it okay if I ask for it?

Instead, just be blatant, be bold about it.

Just say, let me get that, or I want that.

This is what I want.

Don’t say, is it okay?

Don’t give the person the feeling that he has the authority to say it’s okay.

Don’t do that.

Instead, just say, I want that.

And then you create a stronger image about yourself.

So that’s actually a powerful tactic right there.

But okay, so I’m going to finish off on that topic with two other things in relation to that, to the three things that I am talking about with Negotiations.

I’m going to finish off on that on the next episode, and that’s the end of this episode, episode number 63 with me, your host, Phil Defiance of The Electric Current Rundown.

And I’ll always say that I’m here to encourage the spread of intriguing knowledge that can spark fires in the minds of those seeking inspiration and truly improving the world.

Well, till next time, have a good one.
