Welcome to The Electric Current Rundown podcast episode number 52.
And I’m your host Phil Defiance, and I’ll always say I’m here to encourage the spread of intriguing knowledge that can spark fires in the minds of those seeking inspiration and truly improving the world.
And what I’m going to be talking about in this episode includes a continuation of where I left off on the topic of The Absolute Best Pasta Sauce for Mushroom-Lovers.
And then I’m going to be talking about the attack that happened to Twitter a few weeks ago.
More evidence of the hatred of free speech when it comes to that by globalist forces in particular and related thoughts of mine.
And then I’m going to be talking about why lining your flower pots with coffee filters makes house plants harder to kill.
Yes.
So, I mean, to continue on where I left off on the topic of the best, I mean, the absolute best pasta sauce for mushroom lovers.
I mean, you gotta love pasta.
A lot of people do anyway.
I mean, obviously, not everyone likes the same stuff.
And surely some people don’t like pasta.
But a lot of people do.
I mean, Italian food and Italian style food is obviously high up on the list of a lot of people’s favorite kind of food.
I mean, pizza.
Like everybody, basically everybody likes pizza.
So pasta is like close to that anyway, right?
And I mean, if you don’t, I mean, I was alluding to this in the last episode, but I’m really trying to emphasize it, though.
I mean, if you don’t cook often, even if you don’t, that’s okay.
I mean, why not get into the habit?
I mean, it’s good for you in general.
Like you eat healthier.
I mean, that’s one benefit.
And there’s many.
And I could go on a whole episode about that topic.
And I’m not going to talk about that in particular.
So I’ll just say that.
But I mean, why not give a recipe a try?
I mean, especially if something that’s so nice as pasta sauce to make your pastas even better.
Or, I mean, if you don’t want to do it, then fine.
But like, I mean, why not listen to like how it’s done or find out a little bit about it, even if you’re not going to make it.
But, I mean, maybe you might consider it and maybe you might end up doing it.
And I suggest you do because I bet you’re going to love it because it sounds like a really good recipe.
And I mean, when it comes to the particulars about it.
Well, I mean, the article writer said that her, I mean, the recipe involves specifically porcini mushrooms.
But I mean, you don’t have to use porcini mushrooms.
You could even use wild mushrooms and even pale white mushrooms.
I mean, if you want to just like go basic, it’ll still taste good.
That’s what the writer wrote.
So it must be true.
And, you know, like some techniques involved include traditional meat.
I mean, the techniques that are done in traditional meat ragu, as well as red wine usage on the recipe, as well as even tomato paste and other layer flavor boosters.
Yes, those are some of the specifics involved with this recipe in particular.
And the way the article writer was talking about it, it sure sounded absolutely delicious.
And maybe one day, I’ll even try that recipe myself.
Why not, right?
I mean, if I’m suggesting you try it, why don’t I?
And I might just, but I really think that it’s a really good recipe.
So, I mean, you know, I provided a link in the description of this episode right here, so that you can try it out yourself.
I mean, I hyped it up.
I gave you a little bit of background, including in the last episode.
Now, you can go ahead and browse through the information of the specifics of it and go ahead.
Give it a try.
I bet you any money.
If you try that recipe out, you’re going to love it, and you’re going to be like, wow, Phil Defiance showed me this amazing recipe.
So give it a shot.
Why not, right?
But okay, so now I’m going to switch topics on to the next topic right after this quick break.
So on this break, I’m going to say, everybody likes really good designs, as well as knowing their online order will come quickly.
Go to plainbowl.com to get the designs you desire.
Your order will come quick like you expect.
And while you want quick delivery, you’ll have patience for your order, because when it does come, you’re going to have the kind of design you’ll love.
It will make you stand out, and people will notice, and you’ll love that.
Go to plainbowl.com, that’s plain, like airplane, plainbowl.com for that type of really good designs right there, especially right now.
I mean, right now, I got shirts, but I’m going to expand further.
And I mean, I’ve really upgraded my websites, including my podcast site.
I mean, I made it a lot faster if you went to it in the past.
Go to it now.
I mean, I made it beautifully fast in comparison to what it was like before.
And the same goes for my store.
And I’m in the process of improving on that.
But OK, so now I’m going to switch topics on the podcast episode.
And I’m going to talk about what I said in the start of this episode.
And that is the attack that happened to Twitter a few weeks ago.
That is more evidence of the hatred of free speech by globalist forces and related thoughts.
So, I mean, OK, I mean, probably not every single person out there knows about that.
But it was in the news.
I mean, it’s big news.
I mean, it was big news generally because, I mean, obviously, Twitter or x.com is one of the biggest social media platforms out there, period.
So, yeah, of course, it was in the news.
It was big in the news when it happened on that day.
I mean, and it wasn’t just like a little like disruption of like half an hour or one hour.
It was like several hours.
It was like a quarter of a day, like around like eight hours of a whole day.
twitter.com or x.com was shut down.
And that’s insane.
Just thinking about that.
And even and I experienced this because obviously I’m on Rumble.
So I experienced it myself.
I heard about it, too.
And I when I saw it on Rumble, I didn’t know what was going on because I wasn’t on Twitter that day.
But I mean, yeah, apparently Rumble, too.
Like it had a like a stoppage.
Like it wasn’t usable for like, I mean, at least 10 minutes, maybe half an hour, maybe a whole hour.
I don’t know the exact amount of time, but it was less on Twitter.
But obviously, I mean, those are two huge platforms for free speech.
I mean, Twitter is like massive, obviously.
I mean, Elon Musk bought it for what?
Like $20 billion?
Obviously, it’s huge to be valued at that kind of value.
And Rumble, I mean, yeah, YouTube is bigger.
Everybody knows that.
But I mean, Rumble is like huge when it comes to free speech, and it’s growing bigger every day.
I mean, to shut down Rumble even for a small time, I bet you it was like 30 minutes, maybe a whole hour.
And generally compared to the Twitter shutdown, yeah, it was small in comparison, but still, like, I mean, even 10 minutes is a long time.
They shouldn’t, I mean, that shouldn’t be happening.
And just thinking about that, right?
I mean, that’s free speech.
Those platforms, both are the kings of free speech when it comes to what they do.
I mean, for video content, a video host.
And I mean, when I started using Rumble, I didn’t know what to expect.
I mean, I’ll tell you what went, one thing though, YouTube is a bit more advanced in some features.
But one thing that really impresses me about Rumble, other than the fact that it’s pro-free speech, and also, like, there’s a lot of users, is the fact that it’s really fast.
Like, it’s really, really fast.
It’s beautiful when it comes to that, too.
So, like, I mean, that’s why it’s up there as one of the biggest names in free speech.
I mean, yeah, it’s growing and growing.
It’s not as big as YouTube yet.
And maybe one day it will be, but obviously it isn’t there just yet.
But it is pretty big.
And then there’s Twitter.
I mean, Twitter, like I just said a moment ago, I mean, I’m not going to repeat myself over and over, but it’s huge, regardless.
I mean, just thinking about that.
Like, I mean, and from what I heard, especially when it comes to Twitter, I mean, Twitter, that’s a huge company.
They obviously got, like, very advanced security measures involved in their technology backbone, like in their back end.
So obviously, they have been prepared for cyber attacks in general.
So for a company that big, without much, like, market value, they must have really advanced security systems in their whole apparatus.
And the fact that it got shut down for a whole, like, eight hours is absurd.
And it just makes you think, like, I mean, there’s no way that this was, like, some kind of, you know, amateur type of hacker group, like, running this type of attack, or not even a general, like, hacker group.
This is something that could have only been done by some kind of, like, really big money type of people.
But okay, I’m gonna continue on on that topic, and then I’m gonna finish off the episode with one more topic.
Right after this quick break, I’m gonna do all that.
And on this break, I’m gonna say, riding a motorcycle like thunder on a highway is like a dream.
Gripping handlebars, cool wind, gorgeous views, what life’s about, it’s soul food.
Look good while doing it.
Get great motorbike clothing at planebold.com.
That’s plane, like airplane, planebold.com.
But either way, okay, so just think about that though.
Like, there’s no way that that was like a small group or just a general group of hackers.
That obviously must have been a well-funded group right there.
I mean, to shut Twitter down for eight hours and even to hit Rumble 2 on the same day.
I mean, both are like kings of free speech.
I mean, Facebook had to switch to being more free speech after they realized that, well, it’s about time.
I mean, Trump got reelected.
Plus, I mean, Twitter, like, is there big name competition?
And Twitter fully, like, embraced free speech under its new leadership under Elon Musk.
So, Facebook followed suit.
I mean, suit.
But still, even till today, Twitter is even more free speech than Facebook is.
But yeah, Facebook has improved a lot.
But, I mean, regardless, Twitter is a leader in that.
And I mean, to have Twitter shut down for eight hours by, I mean, just thinking about how advanced their security systems must be for a corporation of that size.
I mean, just thinking about that.
Like, there’s, it only makes sense that, like, some kind of government body, or some kind of, like, highly funded body of, like, extremely advanced people with extremely advanced systems could have been able to do such an attack on Twitter.
And it just makes you wonder, like, why did that happen?
I mean, it happened on the same day that Rumble got shut down for a shorter amount of time.
But, like, I mean, both are free speech platforms, like Twitter, especially a king of free speech.
So, to just, I mean, if you just think about it, why would they shut that down?
And the same thing happened to Rumble.
Oh, yeah, of course.
I mean, there’s Elon Musk, and a lot of people are pissed off at Elon Musk.
So there’s that factor as well.
But, I mean, Elon Musk in general is about free speech too.
So he’s connected to the concept of free speech as well.
So, generally speaking, I mean, I would have to say that this was definitely an attack on free speech.
And so, it just shows you, like, these globalist forces are extremely pissed off that, I mean, that we still got free speech.
I mean, free speech is something that they totally hate.
And, I mean, obviously, this is, like, early in Trump’s new presidency.
They obviously wanted Kamala Harris to win that.
And now they got Trump, and they’re pissed off as heck, obviously.
And, I mean, I saw, like, footage last year of the World Economic Forum, which is run by Klaus Schwab, like, on the European side of the world.
They, like, are, like, big, like, big people and running the world.
They tried to create a world government.
They still are hoping to do that in the future.
And this is the group that really is, like, up there, involved in that.
And I remember seeing, like, footage, like, a year ago from some woman that was in one of their conventions, and she was talking about how free speech was going to end in America soon.
And she had, like, Brian Stelter of CNN, I mean, previous host of CNN.
God, good riddance, good thing that he got fired.
But either way, he was there.
And, I mean, I think in the same, at the same time, maybe even she was talking to him, something along those lines.
But I know he was there, that same event.
But, like, that woman was saying that free speech in America is soon to end.
And, of course, that was close to the election with Kamala Harris and Trump.
So, I mean, obviously, she was referring to the fact that they were hoping that Kamala Harris could help end free speech in America.
And, like, I mean, her influence in general.
So, like, I mean, well, that’s not happening.
And so they’re pissed off.
And that’s why they’re attacking freedom of speech platforms like Twitter and Rumble.
And, yeah, of course, there’s a Elon factor, but it’s not the only factor.
It’s freedom of speech, too.
And, like, I mean, just thinking about the Europeans, like what I was saying, like, the other day, I mean, even if, like, the EU tries to form a partnership, like, I mean, to swallow Canada into it, I was just thinking about that.
Either way, I mean, that’s not…
I really don’t think that’s going to happen.
Trump’s going to view it as a national security threat.
And that’s going to, like, that’s going to create a lot of commotion, and that’s why I don’t think it’ll happen, no matter who ends up winning the next Canadian election.
And even if Canada joins the EU, I mean, it’s going to be hard for the liberals to, like, enforce free…
like, a clampdown of freedom of speech, like the EU dictates in the European Union.
Because, I mean, freedom of speech and freedom in general is, like, highly engraved into the DNA of everyone that lives in North America, especially the two countries of Canada and America.
But, okay, I mean, I just had to say that, too, because, I mean, freedom of speech is what I was just talking about, and it’s just crazy what they did when they attacked Twitter and even Rumble.
And so you see all my points.
And you know what?
I’m going to post a link to that woman at the WEC World Economic Forum, talking about how freedom of speech is about to end, which she said close, I mean, like about a year before the election with Trump.
Just to show you, I mean, I’m not making this stuff up.
I mean, this is what they want.
They want to end our freedoms.
That’s what it’s all connected to.
That’s why that attack happened.
Like, I mean, there’s the Elon factor, but obviously freedom of speech is pissing them off.
They don’t want us to have freedom.
Well, too bad.
We got our freedom, and we’re going to keep it too, especially in America.
And if they want to bring Canada into the EU, they can have a tough time trying, because it’s not going to be so easy as in Europe.
But okay, so I got to switch to this last topic.
As I finish off this episode, I didn’t realize that I was going to talk so long on that last topic.
But okay, so I’m going to say this real quick, and that is the topic about why lining your flowerpots with coffee filters makes house plants harder to kill.
Um, so, so they, it turns out, I mean, they did research when it comes to houseplants, because I mean, if you got houseplants in your house, you don’t want them to die.
I mean, why would you spend money on houseplants?
And plus, I mean, houseplants are good for you.
Like they bring oxygen into your house.
So, you want to keep them alive if you got them in your house, of course.
So you don’t want to have them dying.
And I mean, a lot of people that have houseplants are worried that the houseplant might die, and they see it like having problems with its health, and they want to keep it healthy.
So it makes a lot of sense to have, to have this kind of knowledge.
So this kind of knowledge can be helpful.
I mean, the thing is, you can overwater the plant, you can underwater the plant, both things end up ruining the plant.
I mean, either killing it, or making it unhealthy, and then you’re gonna have problems.
And you don’t want those problems, and if you can have some information that will make it easier for you with your houseplants, then why not have that kind of information?
And so research has shown, well, I mean, not just like, this isn’t like a serious scientific study, but like, I mean, research from people’s experiments, and people that own houseplants, they have discovered, and so now, it’s knowledge now that I’m bringing to you, too, that using coffee filters in your soil of your houseplants actually helps them, like, in many ways.
I mean, it absorbs the water.
So, I mean, if you overwater your plants, then the water gets absorbed by the coffee filters that are, like, in little spots in the soil.
And then if you don’t water your plants too, I mean, enough, right?
Then the coffee filters, they actually still have that water from the last time that you watered them.
Like, they still got a bit of it absorbed inside of them, and then the plant ends up getting some of that water out of the coffee filters, like that.
So, it helps both ways when it comes to overwatering as well as underwatering.
So, that’s a beautiful thing.
So, give it a try.
I mean, yeah, what are you going to do if you already got your plants in the soil?
Maybe you could try to dig it up.
If you know how to do that, then you could try that, and then you could put in some coffee filters, or maybe dig a little bit and just like put coffee filters.
Or like when you’re like planting a new house plant, like make sure to do it that way.
If you remember this, and I hope you do.
I mean, if you have house plants and you like that kind of thing, because this definitely will help.
Either way, okay, so now you see what I mean.
Either way.
But that’s the end of this episode right here.
Episode number 52.
And I’m your host, Phil Defiance, and I’ll always say that I’m here to encourage the spread of intriguing knowledge that can spark fires in the minds of those seeking inspiration and truly improving the world.
And till next time, have a good one.
